Business waste contractors will use different disposal methods depending on the particular disposal facilities they own or on which facilities they have a contractual arrangement  to use.  Not all contractors have a  zero-landfill policy.

We can collect any residual waste that’s left over after you have recycled as much as possible and none of it will be landfilled.

It is our policy to provide the best environmental option available to our customers and landfilling is the least preferred because :

• It is at the bottom of the waste hierarchy.

• No value is retrieved from the 'waste' materials buried under ground.

• The process creates more green house gases than incineration with energy recovery does (leading to climate change)
