New hazardous waste regulations and the implementation of the WEEE Directive and the Batteries Directive have introduced a range of new obligations for businesses in the management of their waste.
In order to assist our customers from having to search for individual services for each waste stream affected, we offer an efficient package from which the particular expert services required can be selected.

Mixed WEEE - <10 CRT monitors, <10 UPS batteries
Mixed household batteries - we will collect & weigh your mixed dry cell batteries
Flourescent lamps & tubes - low energy bulbs, 2ft, 4 ft & 6 ft fluorescent tubes
If you produce or hold hazardous waste at any premises in England and Wales you must register it each year with The Environment Agency, unless the total quantity is less than 500kg each year. Read more & / or Register yiour premises ►

The registration is valid for 12 months and must be renewed each year.

All types of premises (not companies) that produce or hold less than 500kg of hazardous waste in a year are exempt from registration. You don't need to inform The Environment Agency that you are exempt.

Generally speaking, CRT monitors and UPS batteries make up the majority of hazardous ICT waste. You will need a premises code to dispose of more than 30 CRT monitors or small UPS batteries per year from any one site.
